About Us

PROBLEM: Mental, physical, and environmental health inequities in the global community arise in part from underrepresentation of our at-risk populations in STEM and STEAM professions (e.g., health sciences, environmental sciences, biotech). These fields need to double the number of women and triple the number of Black and Brown people to achieve representational equity (Sources: Annual Review of Public Health, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Department of Education).

PURPOSE: Empowering global communities to eliminate inequities in mental, physical, and environmental health and well-being through STEM & STEAM.

VISION: Increased levels of education, employment, and entrepreneurship in STEM & STEAM fields for at-risk and underrepresented community members. Intersectional equity is achieved in STEM & STEAM fields and the digital divide is closed.

MISSION: Delivering comprehensive cutting edge Science, Technology, Engineer, Arts, and Math (STEM & STEAM) education and support to at-risk and underrepresented community members.

UNIQUE WORKSHOPS: All-in-one, Tailored, Mobile. Star Tech Global Academy (STGA)'s novel approach lies in our unique combination of community-driven next generation curriculum and innovative all-in-one mobile workshops that are delivered on-site wherever needed. Our state of the art STEM & STEAM Workshops are delivered via our innovative Star Tech Fleet of mobile classroom supply vehicles. This mobility and self-sufficiency allows STGA to reach the most vulnerable populations often underserved by existing solutions.

STGA is a program offered by Renaissance 21, a 501(c)(3) organization. Renaissance 21 and STGA are Black and Female led.
